Potosi, Bolivia, cob 8 reales, 1652E, post-transitional (Type VIII/B), 1-PH-6 at top. S-P37a; KM-21; CT-434. 27.6 grams. Choice specimen with interior design on both sides full and superbly toned, well centered and nicely struck, one small edge-split and not much legend but otherwise one of the most attractive examples possible. With original SubAmerica certificate. Recovered from: Capitana, sunk in 1654 off Chanduy, Ecuador
