Potosi, Bolivia, cob 8 reales, (1652)E transitional Type IV, ex-Mastalir collection. S-P37; KM-A20.4; CT-432. 18.96 grams. Broad flan with about 20% piece of edge lost to corrosion, full pillars and nearly full (but slightly doubled) shield, edge-split, patchy toning. Pedigreed to the Roberto Mastalir collection, #IV.1-A.dd(1)1 in his book (page 109), with Herman Moro photo-certificate #ab52. Recovered from: Capitana, sunk in 1654 off Chanduy, Ecuador
