Potosi, Bolivia, cob 8 reales, 1651E, crowned-dot-F-dot countermark (four dots) on shield. S-P36; KM-19b; Cal-1491. 23.29 grams. Oblong flan with full shield and off-center cross, the former with bold and nearly full countermark and the latter with bold 16 of date, light surface corrosion, toned in crevices. Recovered from: Capitana, sunk in 1654 off Chanduy, Ecuador
