Potosi, Bolivia, cob 8 reales, 1651 E, with crown-alone (rare) countermark on cross. S-P36; KM-19b; Cal-1491. 21.77 grams. Thin from corrosion but with good full cross showing most of countermark (full crown, Mastalir K1a) and bold full 651 of date, the obverse moderately corroded but with full shield, mostly brown-toned. Recovered from: Maravillas, sunk in 1656 off Grand Bahama Island.
