Potosi, Bolivia, cob 8 reales, 1650O, with crowned-L countermark on cross. S-P35; KM-19b; Cal-1488. 22.45 grams. Broad flan with large edge-split, full date and countermark (covering most of cross), interestingly doubled shield with P-O appearing at a right angle below, some light corrosion. Pedigreed to our Auction #2, with original lot-tag #63, also pedigreed to the Lou Ullian collection, with photo-copied certificate #AA95.Recovered from: Capitana, sunk in 1654 off Chanduy, Ecuador
