Potosi, Bolivia, cob 8 reales, 1650O, with crowned-L countermark on cross. S-P35; KM-19b; Cal-1488. 23.43 grams. Broad flan with very bold full date, nearly full countermark on full but off-center cross, full but double shield (some flat spots) with bold denomination 8 to right, edge-splits and black spots but minimal surface corrosion. Pedigreed to the Rob McClung collection.Recovered from: Capitana, sunk in 1654 off Chanduy, Ecuador
