Potosi, Bolivia, cob 8 reales, (1650-51)O, with crown-alone countermark (rare variety) on cross. S-P35; KM-19b. 17.90 grams. Very bold full cross-and-tressure with full (and intricate) countermark, bold full shield with two assayers, nicely toned but thin from corrosion and with edge-crack. With certificate from the salvagers. Recovered from: Capitana, sunk in 1654 off Chanduy, Ecuador
