Potosi, Bolivia, cob 8 reales, (1650-1) O, with pentagonal crowned-1652 countermark on cross, very rare, ex-McClung. S-P35; KM-19b. 18.45 grams. Thin from corrosion but with full and clear 1652 date in center of cross from the pentagonal countermark, full assayer to left of shield, patchy toning. Pedigreed to the Rob McClung Collection. Recovered from: Capitana, sunk in 1654 off Chanduy, Ecuador
