Potosi, Bolivia, cob 8 reales, 1649O/Z, with crowned-S countermark on cross (rare). S-P35; KM-19b; CT-507. 25.66 grams. Broad flan, no corrosion, choice full shield with bold denomination to right and P-O/Z to left, full but off-center cross-and-tressure with full date in legend and choice full countermark in center, nicely toned, edge-split. With certificate from the salvagers. Recovered from: Capitana, sunk in 1654 off Chanduy, Ecuador
