Potosi, Bolivia, cob 8 reales, (1649)O, crowned-PH countermark on shield. S-P35; KM-19b; CT-506. 17.6 grams. Nice full shield with nearly full countermark, bold P-O and denomination 8, good full cross-and-tressure, thin from corrosion but with dark, contrasting toning. Recovered from: Capitana, sunk in 1654 off Chanduy, Ecuador
