Potosi, Bolivia, cob 8 reales, (16)52E transitional Type IV, ex-Mastalir collection. S-P37; KM-A20.4; CT-432. 12.88 grams. Heavily corroded, particularly around edge, still with full pillars and shield, areas of dark toning, small edge-split. Pedigreed to the Roberto Mastalir collection, #IV.1-A.ad1(1)3 in his book (page 88), with Sedwick photo-certificate. Recovered from: Capitana, sunk in 1654 off Chanduy, Ecuador
