Potosi, Bolivia, cob 8 reales, (16)52E (extremely rare), with crowned-•F• (two dots) countermark on shield. S-P36; KM-19b; CT-515. 22.19 grams. Full 52 of date (very few 1652 shield-types are known) outside of full but doubled cross, nice full shield (slightly off-center) with bold but incomplete countermark, toned fields, light to moderate surface corrosion. From the Maravillas Research Collection of Countermarked Potosi Cobs, with Marex certificate and tag #1039. Recovered from: Maravillas, sunk in 1656 off Grand Bahama Island
