Potosi, Bolivia, cob 8 reales, (16)52E Transitional Type IV/A. S-P37; KM-A20.4; CT-432. 22.88 grams. Big flan with bold, Royal-like detail on both sides (much legend, full inner details, the pillars side especially nice with full crown and POTOSI) but light to moderate (localized) corrosion and uneven toning. Dot variety: Mastalir IV.1-A.ad1. Pedigreed to the Rob McClung collection. Recovered from: Capitana, sunk in 1654 off Chanduy, Ecuador
