Potosi, Bolivia, cob 8 reales, (16)49Z, with crowned-L countermark on cross. S-P34; KM-19a; CT-508. 23.76 grams. Bold 49 of date, full P-Z and countermark, nice full cross, off-center shield, no corrosion but struck on underweight flan with splits in edge. From the Maravillas Research Collection of Countermarked Potosi Cobs, with Marex certificate and tag #0224. Recovered from: Maravillas, sunk in 1656 off Grand Bahama Island
