Potosi, Bolivia, cob 8 reales, 16(49)O, with rare variety of crown-alone countermark on cross. S-P35; KM-19b; CT-506. 26.7 grams. Broad, roundish flan with good full shield and cross, bold denomination, most of king's name and ordinal, full countermark on full cross, minimal corrosion, good toning. (Note: This countermark is seen on some silver artifacts from the Atocha [1622].) Recovered from: Capitana, sunk in 1654 off Chanduy, Ecuador
