Potosi, Bolivia, cob 8 reales, 1(65)1E, with crowned-L countermark on cross. 26.35 grams. Broad flan with full but slightly doubled shield and cross, full countermark, full 1's of date, nicely toned and corrosion-free, with hairline edge-split. With Marex tag #91-8R-0168 and pedigreed to the David Horner collection. Recovered from: Maravillas, sunk in 1656 off Grand Bahama Island
