Potosi, Bolivia, cob 8 reales, (1)618, assayer not visible, quadrants of cross transposed, Grade 1, NGC shipwreck effect / Sao Jose. KM-10. Clear 618 of date, full but slightly doubled cross and shield, full crown, clear king's name PHYLYPVS, lightly corroded but also somewhat toned. NGC #1974056-032. Pedigreed to our Auction #10 with original lot-tag #307, and housed in a promotional wooden box with generic certificate from the salvagers (Arqueonautas).Recovered from: Sao Jose, sunk in 1622 off Mozambique, east of Africa
