Potosi, Bolivia, cob 4 reales, Philip IV, assayer not visible (ca. 1649), with two crowned-a countermarks (very rare) on cross. KM-17a. 12.89 grams. Crudely struck but uncorroded, somewhat concave due to the two countermarks (one on top of the other), the "a's" in the countermarks not visible but with distinctive crowns, small edge-splits. With certificate from the salvagers. Recovered from: Capitana, sunk in 1654 off Chanduy, Ecuador
