Potosi, Bolivia, cob 4 reales, Philip III, assayer not visible, quadrants of cross transposed, Grade 2, ex-Atocha (1622), mounted cross-side out in 14K gold bezel with pirate-face embellishment and shackle bail. 19.92 grams total. Full cross with late "checkerboard" style castles, nearly full shield (off-center), minimal corrosion, lightly toned, in tall-sided gold mounting with rounded edge. From the Atocha (1622), with Fisher tag and certificate 197524.
