Potosi, Bolivia, cob 4 reales, 1678E, Seliger Plate Coin. S-P37b; KM-25; Cal-522. 12.86 grams. Exceptionally well-detailed full cross-lions-castles with bold date below, excellent full pillars with denomination, date and both assayers on that side bold, nicely toned around details and with only light surface pitting (some corrosion on edge), clearly one of the finest found on this wreck. Plate Coin on page 97 of William Seliger's book Isla El Muerto and the Treasures of the Consolacion (2008), with ROBCAR tag and photo-certificate #M20123. Recovered from: Consolacion, sunk in 1681 off Santa Clara Island, Ecuador
