Potosi, Bolivia, cob 4 reales, 1654E, dot-PH-dot at top, ex-Ponterio. S-P37a; KM-18. 13.37 grams. Choice, solid specimen with full 4-digit date in legend (the other two dates clear as well) due to poor centering, two mintmarks and assayers, bold waves and king's ordinal IIII, minimal corrosion, nice toning. Pedigreed to the Capitana auction (Ponterio April 1999), with original lot-tag #308. Recovered from: Capitana, sunk in 1654 off Chanduy, Ecuador
