Potosi, Bolivia, cob 2 reales, Philip II, assayer R (Rincon), Grade 1. S-P1; KM-3.2; CT-485 (under Lima). 5.42 grams. Very scarce earliest issue of the Potosi mint, particularly rare from this wreck, with typically well-centered and well-detailed full shield and cross and nearly full legends and crown, toned in crevices, with just light and localized surface corrosion, good candidate for a second "Atocha Research Collection," if one is ever put together. With Fisher tag and certificate #136892. Recovered from: Atocha, sunk in 1622 west of Key West, Florida
