Potosí, Bolivia, cob 8 reales, Philip IV, date and assayer not visible (probably 1649O), with crowned-•F• countermark on shield. S-P35. 26.5 grams. Very bold countermark on full shield, full but partially flat cross on other side, crudely uneven flan with edge-crack, minimal corrosion. Recovered from: Maravillas, sunk in 1656 off Grand Bahama Island. With Marex certificate #0442.
