Porcelain demitasse saucer, second class (cabin class), with logo of maker Richard Ginori on bottom, ex-Andrea Doria (1956). 94 grams. 4¾" in diameter. Small service piece with green maker's marking of Richard Ginori on bottom in the center and faint remnants of embossed ITALIA Line crest on obverse just below the gilt-and-blue rim, entirely intact and an interesting artifact from one of the most recognizable shipwrecks in history. From the Andrea Doria (1956), with original certificate from the salvor (Gary Gentile) and hardbound book Saved! (1979), by William Hoffer.
