At the top of the signatures is Sharp Delany (c. 1739-1799), a supporter of American independence, colonel in command of the 2nd Pennsylvania Militia during the war, federal tax collector and considered to be the founding father of the US Coast Guard. Boldly printed with vivid ink and excellent paper quality plus a desirable pedigree. Pedigreed to the Eric P. Newman collection. PCGS #80611488.
