Pair of Byzantine Empire AV solidi, Justinian I, 527-565 AD, mounted in 18K cufflinks made of twisted wire bezels and prongs. 22.20 grams total. Helmeted and cuirassed bust facing, holding globus cruciger in right hand and shield with horseman motif in left / Angel standing facing, holding long cross in right hand and globus cruciger in left, star in right field. Impressive cufflinks of bright gold and XF coins, one with obverse out and the other with reverse out. With photo-certificate.
