PERU, Lima, cob 8 reales, Philip II, assayer Diego de la Torre, P-8 to left, *-oD to right, "9 points" (Grade 3), with hand-signed photo-certificate from 1976. S-L4; KM-14; Cal-655. 16.64 grams. Nice full cross and shield despite moderate corrosion with associated thinning, lightly toned and a bit spotted, popular type. With original photo-certificate from 1976 (Cape Coral Bank) hand-signed by Mel and Delores Fisher, Eugene Lyon, Leah Miguel, and Austin Fowles. Recovered from: Atocha, sunk in 1622 west of Key West, Florida
