PERU, Lima, cob 8 reales, Philip II, assayer Diego de la Torre, P-8 (open left top) to left, *-oD to right, no Grade on certificate. S-L4; KM-14; Cal-655. 26.95 grams. Superb full details, sharp and even, with no flatness and doubling and also no corrosion, attractively toned all over, on a very broad flan with complete legends, a choice example even without the desirable Atocha provenance, Research Collection quality but apparently not among that group. With original Fisher tag and certificate 85A-237448. Recovered from: Atocha, sunk in 1622 west of Key West, Florida
