PERU, Lima, cob 8 reales, Philip II, assayer Diego de la Torre, *-8 (flat top) to left, P-oD to right, ex-Ugaz. S-L4; KM-14; Cal-655. 27.27 grams. Richly toned XF with choice full details (trace of doubling on shield), nearly full crown and legends on a broad flan, just a great old-looking coin, obverse die-match with Sellschopp 87 but different reverse die. Pedigreed to the Jorge Ugaz Collection and the Schulman "Jubilee" auction of May 12, 2016 (lot 278).
