PERU, Lima, cob 8 reales, 1747/6 V, cross-of-five-dots at top, unique(?), ex-Ugaz. S-L22a; KM-unl (44 for type); Cal-unl (Type 60). 26.21 grams. Nearly full cross, well-centered pillars with bold full date 747/6 (the overdate very clear), the first and only example we have ever seen or heard of, chunky flan with flat peripheries hence impossible to confirm the king (1747 would be Ferdinand VI but 1746 would be Philip V), Fine with patchy dark toning. Pedigreed to the Jorge Ugaz Collection.
