PERU, Lima, clump of five small cobs in encrustation (as found). 28.37 grams total. Roughly 2" x 1-1/4" x 1/2". Typical small conglomerate from this wreck with the coins at odd angles with one another, here consisting of one Lima 4R dated 1718, one Lima 2R dated 1731, and three unidentified 1/2R, their intersection held together with orange encrustation with tiny pebbles but also several lead bird-shot, just the two dated coins worth a premium but especially so in a nice little display like this. With Sedwick/Arqueonautas certificate MAI-006/98/CC/19.1 from 2001. Recovered from: Princess Louisa, sunk in 1743 off the Cape Verde Islands, west of Africa
