Ornate clear-glass ashtray, ex-S.S. Central America (1857). 363 grams. 3¾" in diameter, 2" tall. Cut-glass bowl (used as an ashtray) intended for a first-class cabin or dining room. It is certified as being recovered in 2014 from the port-side debris field. From the S.S. Central America (1857), pedigreed to the Holabird auction of December 2022, with original lot-tag 1028 and certificate signed by Holabird and Bob Evans.
