Orange-glazed earthenware bowl with flower pattern, intact, ex-pirate ship Golden Fleece (1686). 499 grams. 7½" diameter, 2" tall. Simple swirls of while petals on glazed surface all around the inside, the exterior unglazed, a few chips here and there. Note that this is the same design as a Guadalupe-Tolosa bowl in this same auction (lot 1630) that was repaired in its time. From the pirate ship Golden Fleece (1686), with original certificate from Captain Tracy Bowden through his contract with the Dominican Republic.
