Neck of an earthenware olive jar inscribed with museum number, ex-Concepción (1641). 254 grams. 3¾" diameter, 1½" tall. Coral-encrusted, intact earthenware olive jar neck, inked with number 4P.FC-1171 by the Dominican Republic's national museum, indicating that it was inventoried before division with Captain Bowden (rare thus). From the Concepción (1641), with original certificate from Captain Tracy Bowden through his contract with the Dominican Republic, and accompanied by the July 1996 issue of National Geographic signed by Captain Tracy Bowden on his article "Gleaning Treasure from the Silver Bank."
