Neatly formed silver ingot, 1970 grams, about 98.5% fine, with stamps of the Amsterdam chamber of the VOC (Dutch East India Co.) and "jumping goat" assayer-mark of Otto and/or Wouter Buck, ex-Rooswijk (1739). 6" x 1-1/2" x 1-5/8". Very neatly cast and conserved to a shine, with very bold markings (still partially encrusted) near one end and the other end with typical depression (also encrusted) but also diagonally sliced to adjust the weight in its time. From the Rooswijk (1739), with original certificate from the salvager and original plastic tag #RK04A0584.
