Neatly formed silver ingot, 1958 grams, about 98.5% fine, with stamps of the Amsterdam chamber of the VOC (Dutch East India Co.) and "jumping goat" assayer-mark of Otto and/or Wouter Buck, ex-Rooswijk (1739). 6-1/2" x 1-1/2" x 1-1/4". Typically very neatly cast in a perfectly rectangular mold with one end left open, that end with several clean chiselings from its time to fine-tune the weight, one of the lateral sides graced at the other end with deeply stamped markings, smooth surfaces throughout (no corrosion) and lightly toned. From the Rooswijk (1739), with certificate hand signed by Ken Welling as "wreck finder."
