Neatly formed silver ingot, 1958 grams, about 98.5% fine, with stamps of the Amsterdam chamber of the VOC (Dutch East India Co.) and "jumping goat" assayer-mark of Otto and/or Wouter Buck, ex-Rooswijk (1739). 6" x 1-1/2" x 1-1/4". Perfectly rectangular in cross-section as neatly cast, with very bold A over VOC monogram and assayer-mark in incuse shield near top end, the other end typically chiseled to fine-tune the weight but lacking the typical cavity, nicely toned and almost completely lacking corrosion. From the Rooswijk (1739), with certificate from the salvors.
