Neatly formed Dutch silver ingot, 1967 grams, about 98.5% fine, with stamps of the Amsterdam chamber of the VOC (Dutch East India Co.) and "jumping goat" assayer-mark of Otto and/or Wouter Buck, ex-Rooswijk (1739), ex-McGregor. 6" x 1½" x 1¼". Corrosion-free and very neatly cast as usual, with one end harboring a deep pit with corners cut multiple times to fine-tune the weight in its time, the markings boldly stamped near the other end on one of the broad sides with deeply contrasting toning, rather well preserved as usual. From the Rooswijk (1739), housed in an antique wooden box with galleon appliqué on top, with original certificate and tag RK04A0427 from the salvors, pedigreed to the McGregor Collection.
