Neatly formed Dutch silver ingot, 1933 grams, about 98.5% fine, with markings of VOC (Dutch East India Co.) monogram with A (Amsterdam) above and "jumping goat" assayer-mark of Otto and/or Wouter Buck, ex-Rooswijk (1739). 1933 grams. 6½" X 1½" X 1¼". Choice full markings crammed near one end of the bar, the other end typically chiseled around a very deep pit containing encrustation, all surfaces very smooth with only minor pitting on the marked side. Pedigreed to the Rooswijk (1739), with original certificate RK04A0388 from the salvors.
