Narrow, carrot-shaped earthenware jar, ex-Concepción (1641). 3562 grams. 17½" long, 9" diameter at shoulder. Orangish in color, heavy and solid, with narrowly tapering design, diagonal hole near bottom but otherwise intact, spots of iron encrustation here and there with large piece near top. FRAGILE - PICK UP IN PERSON ONLY. From the Concepción (1641), with original certificate from Captain Tracy Bowden through his contract with the Dominican Republic, and accompanied by the July 1996 issue of National Geographic signed by Captain Tracy Bowden on his article "Gleaning Treasure from the Silver Bank."
