NETHERLANDS, mints uncertain, large clump containing three ducatoons (one Spanish Netherlands, the others not discernible) in encrustation as found. 321 grams total. Roughly 4" x 2½" x 2½". One of the largest clumps that we've ever offered from this shipwreck, with one partially detailed Brabant ducatoon sticking out along with at least two more coins and possibly more inside, all covered in solid and thick encrustation containing numerous pebbles and bits of rust, overall a neat (if a bit chaotic) display piece. Recovered from: Merestein, sunk in 1702 off South Africa
