Scarce second date of series, curious "snake swallows tail" denomination 8 and recut assayer F and 1 of date, AU details against deeply toned fields, light surface corrosion only to right of pillars. Pedigreed to the Reijgersdaal Research Collection. Recovered from: Reijgersdaal, sunk in 1747 off South Africa
