Mexico City, Mexico, cob 8 reales, Philip V, assayer L (1702-05). S-M21a; KM-47. 25.15 grams. Interesting wedge shape, with clear assayer L to left of a Philip V shield (scarce), very crude strike with lots of flatness but minimal corrosion, darkly toned. Recovered from: Spanish 1715 Fleet, east coast of Florida
