Mexico City, Mexico, cob 8 reales, Philip V, assayer J, mounted in large plaque with tag, certificate and Mel Fisher letter. S-M22; KM-47. Plaque: 13" x 12". Attractive coin in long and somewhat triangular shape with full cross-lions-castles (other side mounted to mat), the tag and certificate standard but the letter unique, written on Mel's personal stationery, asserting the coin came from "my personal collection." Housed in wooden plaque with original Cobb Coin Co. (Mel Fisher) tag and certificate #138456 plus original letter hand-signed by Mel Fisher. Recovered from: Spanish 1715 Fleet, east coast of Florida
