Mexico City, Mexico, cob 8 reales, Philip III, assayer not visible, Grade 4, ex-Atocha (1622), mounted shield-side out in twisted-rope silver bezel with 14K gold prongs, anchor embellishment and bail. 15.37 grams total. Heavily corroded coin but with most of shield and cross still evident, mounted off-axis (just following the shape of the coin), large bail. From the Atocha (1622), with Fisher tag and certificate #190047.
