Mexico City, Mexico, cob 8 reales, Philip III, assayer not visible, Grade 2, from the Atocha (1622), mounted cross-side out in silver bezel with gold prongs, pirate face embellishment and shackle bail. 32.12 grams total. Mostly full and bold shield and cross, could be worn either way facing out, moderate corrosion across surfaces, nice silver color throughout with gold bezel highlights. From the Atocha (1622), with Fisher tag and certificate #104469.
