Mexico City, Mexico, cob 8 reales, Philip II or III, (8)-F to left, oM-oD to right, rare dual assayer. S-M14 or 14a. 19.2 grams. One of very few cobs with two assayers on the same coin, this one with mintmark to right above the all-important oD assayer (only faintly visible), full shield and cross, moderate corrosion, three small edge-splits. Recovered from: "Rill Cove wreck," sunk ca. 1618 off Cornwall, England.
