Mexico City, Mexico, cob 8 reales, Philip II, assayer F, NGC MS 62, finest known in NGC census. S-M12; KM-43; Cal-664. 27.62 grams. Frosty surfaces and sharp details befitting the top grade (the only MS example among eleven entries currently at NGC), including full shield and cross, clear oMF, the legends a bit crude due to uneven flan thickness but with clear king's ordinal oIIo on obverse and rosette stop on reverse, which also shows IIISPA(NIARVM) with two I's instead of H.
