Mexico City, Mexico, cob 8 reales, 1712 J, encrusted (as found), ex-Pullin. S-M22; KM-47; Cal-1399. 25.36 grams. Attractive rectangular shape with one side round, about half of shield and cross visible, bold full oM mintmark and clear bottom half of 12 of date, a little dark in color contrasting with patches of white encrustation. Pedigreed to the John Pullin collection (Sedwick Auction 26), with original lot-tag 326 hand-signed by John Pullin, also with Sedwick photo-certificate from 2019. Recovered from: Spanish 1715 Fleet, east coast of Florida
