Mexico City, Mexico, cob 8 reales, (16)22/1D. S-M18a; KM-45; CT-310. 26.2 grams. This coin has the most incredible full cross imaginable, and the full shield is nice too, but perhaps the most important part is the clear 22 date (with overdate), made possible by the fact that it was struck on a rather large flan, typically uneven, practically uncorroded and with nice, tan toning. From: "Lucayan Beach wreck," sunk ca. 1628 off Grand Bahama Island
